Buying another car –We’ve started the year off by doing lots of road worthies, but some things to consider that are often forgotten during this exciting time are – The cost and availability of replacement parts, the complexity of the electronics in the vehicle, and the effect this will have on servicing, repairing, or insuring the vehicle..
Unfortunately we get customers that have just bought a car, only to find the next service is a costly one, or that there are expensive repairs required. The risk of this happening can be reduced a few ways: 1-Researching vehicle maintenance costs, 2-not buying a car without a roadworthy, and 3-getting a pre-purchase inspection of the vehicle. We can help with all of these.
Ask yourself how much it is worth. We see plenty of restraints fitted so poorly they might as well have just used an ockie strap. When we fit a restraint we know that it complies with regulations, that the seat hasn’t passed its expiry date, and we have done the job properly.
I hope this newsletter has been of some benefit, and we wish you happy motoring – Andrew.
